Swift Bolero
Hi all, I have a 2009 Swift Bolero 680 and unfortunately the fridge freezer has recently started moving, and is leaning inwards at top, as well as slightly to right.
Does anyone have any idea how to eg access the brackets that (are presumably supposed to) hold it, or how to effect a repair?
All thoughts welcome, even if the advice is that this is a professional job!
Thanks in advance.

Is it held in with screws from inside the fridge three each side

screws are through the sides of the fridge just inside the door there maybe caps or bungs over them not sure exactly whats causing a lean as the fridge stand on a flat base the screws just stop it moving if its leaning it suggest something has collapsed under it
if you need to remove the fridge the bottom vent outside usually gives access to the connections you may be able to see the problem from there also

Thanks mitzimad , all helpful and I’ll have another look.
As you suggest, it seems like the shelf in which it sits (over a cupboard) has collapsed, so probably a bit of work involved in making it good.

Be sure when you make good that the. Fridge is then room sealed one to stop draughts, and to prevent any chance of fumes from the flue entering the van.

Had ours in/out several times, pretty straightforward:-
1. Disconnect electrical connections, access through lower vent.
2. Disconnect gas pipe, best is the one furthest from the burner, again through lower vent.
3. Inside fridge door there are 3 longish screws down each side behind plastic covers, remove.
4. You should now be able to pull fridge out, it's an interference fit so needs some gentle maneouvering. Suggest you have something to set it down on as it comes free, footstool or something, as it's heavy.
5. Now the fun bit. If it's the same as mine the whole support frame has collapsed as the construction is very poor. If you're okay with basic woodworking you need to rebuild the frame. I had mine done by a caravan repair guy, solid job which has lasted much, much longer than the original.

Refitting is just reversal (you took a photo of the electrical connections didn't you?). Take care refitting the gas as it's very easy to cross the threads. Test afterwards for leaks. Also try to ensure that the draught-proofing all goes back properly too, it's this that prevents fumes etc. leaking back into the van and also any wind draught on the side of the van. Ask me how I know.............

Have fun!

Thanks TerryL , very helpful step by step instructions which give me some confidence to give it a go.
Also (sort of) good to know that others have experienced same problem, and doesn’t surprise me massively, as other parts of same cabinet are showing signs of wear / damage, possibly all impacting on each other if that makes sense.
Thanks all for contributions and ill feedback in due course.
