Hi all
What's your preference for removing leisure battery when parked in storage in winter?
Do you leave in and connected to solar or should you remove?

We don't use storage fortunately our drive is large enough for us to park her here so we use the motorhome as an extra room, so we are ready to disappear through out the winter and anyway thanks to being retired we head to Spain for winter too
So Solar is on and the Electric is plugged in for when we need to put the heating on

Though not this year as I am waiting for a hip replacement very soon so just plugged in sat waiting

Leave ours in, and take the motorhome for a drive every few weeks to keep everything moving.

My van is in storage when not being used.
Solar keeps my leisure battery charged and a Vanbitz Battery Master keeps my starter battery charged.
I generally go away for a few nights every month in winter, if not I take the van for a drive every month.

Just fitted the Vanbitz Battery Master & working a treat , Cab battery 13.6v in the day with Sun on Solar drops to around 12.6v through the night. 👍

Ours stays in all year, both batteries LB,SB topped up by our solar Votronic duo when MH is not being used. Sits outside on EHU over Christmas to use extra fridge.

Another vote for leaving the LB in place and leaving the Votronic/solar to keep both the LB and SB in good condition.. Using the van every couple of weeks for an overnight on the Solway coast helps too......
