I have a Fiat Chausson 628eb 17 plate and the leisure batteries aren't holding chargeand I need to replace. I have followed the forum advice and removed bolts and the yellow Anderson plug has been unclipped. I am left with one black wire (air bag?) that is stopping me detach the seat. The wire goes from below the battery through the swivel seat and then goes up into the seat. It appears to go behind the plastic panel at the bottom of the seat which I cannot access as the seat adjustment furled knob stops my taking it off. I am hoping a Funster has overcome this issue and can advise. Its frustrating as I cant get the new batteries in until I sort this issue. Thanking you in advance Andrew

Its attached to one of the bolts holding the swivel to the base, you need to undo all the screws for the plastic panel then twist the panel so you access the bolts. Total pain, took me a while to work it out

Yes, for me, the black earth wire was bolted on to a threaded stud that locates / held the swivel to the seat Base. It was located to the inside, underside of the seat Base about ¼ of the way from the front on the offside (rather than central side) of the seat.
As per photo 4 in my how to guide

I found it eventually. The spade end had been placed on top of the bolt so when I released the nut from below the spade end was still in place. I had to remove the swivel and prise the plate up to release the spade end. Just fitting new batteries. Thanks for all your help everyone

Why not just cut the earth wire and fit a new joint so you dont have to repeat this when you next replace the batteries?
