Remoska Oven on sale at Lakeland

We use one at home. But bought it for our PVC. We found it too bulky, and dangerously hot to use and open in the confined space.
Nice product, but some air fryers are now a similar price. And probably less drama.

You said at a similar price but at £135 that Air fryer must also be too bulky surely?

Around here, £135 will get you one of the twin draw models. The small ones are, at least, half that and cheaper. 🤔

I use both a remoska and a air fryer, if space was an issue the remiska would be left at home.
The remoska makes the most amazing beef stew and dumplings 😋 though.

We have just recently retired our old 2 litre Remoska as it was pretty battered. It has been a faithful servant over the years especially with our current Moho which doesn't have a fitted oven. I was always wary of the lid though and handled it with great care. Our preferred cooking units now are a 1000w air fryer with a 3.5 litre capacity, a 800w mini oven and a 450w hotplate. Only the mini oven has been tested properly (works well). Having recently changed the power system to lithium (300Ah battery, 255w soon to be 395w solar) we'll be testing the off-grid capabilities of using these items as well as charging our 2 x 400w ebike batteries.

We have an oven in our van but we do like our Remoska. We have Lithium and an inverter but it’s a 1000w inverter so it would have to be a tiny air fryer. Not sure if there is a 800w one and even if I’d want another gadget.

My remoska is old now but I am pretty sure I’d replace it. I nearly bought one of the new stainless steel ones in fact until I realised how much deeper the pan was. Pros and cons there of course.

This is the lowest wattage air fryer I could find when researching them, might tempt you!
