I have a problem with my Remis cab blind on near side , I tried doing a repair with glue a couple of years back but it has gone again , so I went searching online and found a couple of places selling the telescopic guide I need but although they are listed for Ducato cab windows they look different to mine , has anyone had a problem with theirs and managed to get a replacement , I have shown an image of the only ones I can find for sale and a photo of the good one of mine , the difference is the shape of the lower end and the whole part appears wider than mine

The telescopic guide on our 2013 Peugeot Boxer X250 (same as the Ducato) is the same as your top photo.

Magnum Motorhomes are only down the road from you and stock Remis blinds.
Is it worth taking a run down there to see if that can match what you have to get an idea of what yours are ?

Thanks, Paul, I have just been researching and found details of spares on Remis website and it appears they changed in 2011 to Beige and as mine are grey they must be the 2008 ones, but they only list one type of telescopic arm so I think it may be fair to assume that it would fit both models, I would assume yours are beige?
For anyone interested, this is the spares product catalogue:

Replaced my hinges on side blinds. Didn’t bother to swap channels, or remove anything just black hinge.

hi. thanks will save the link . val

It is not the slot-in hinge part that is broken on mine it is the channel that it clips into, is your telescopic part narrow like mine or wide like Two on Tour ?

Could one of the 3D modellers on here make one if you send your broken one for them to copy? Do a search and ask, the worse they could do is only say no !!

Charliesgrandad/Landy Andy: My hinge on right hand window is broken and the only part I can find is on Leisuredirect website but I would have to buy the arm as well. However they say they are out of stock. So I may have to wait. Mine are black.

Have you had any lick Charliesgrandad and Land Andy where did you get your spare hinge? Cheers Smudger55

If it's just the hinge part you need someone is listing them on eBay from France

Just recieved and fitted a nearside Remis blind hinge .the parts were ordered from the below and only took a few days to deliver by post from France.
Had to file the side pins a little to make the plastic pins more round and fit the sliding arm.( They appear to be 3D printed)
And the back of the hinge to make it swivel more ,but it's done the job and cost £5.29 for two pieces ,so have a spare. The more difficult part was taking out the lower part of the hinge which had been pressed in place .but dug it out with a small bladed screwdriver and long nose pliers.
If you have a broken hinge these are stronger than the originals. (y)

Hinge part received and blind repaired. Thanks for the link. 👍😊👍
Hi. I have sen your conversation regarding the Remis blind issue. I have the same problem. How do you remove the broken part from the vertical channel as it is held inside by something which I presume is due to a pressure point that holds it ? Regards John R

Hi John R

Its some time since I did it but I think I prised it out some how. Think it fits tightly in so have to be careful. Sorry can't be more helpful.

The windscreen pull across blinds are a pain, looking at getting a pull down one as I see that a lot of the new ones have them fitted as standard.

if anyone wants to send me their broken hinge, i am happy to have a go at 3d printing one? i am very new to 3d printing and it would give me something to design myself and if they work out, to offer fast turnaround replacements on here for other funsters !

Hi charliesgrandad, I have the same issue as you had. I only need to replace the inner part of the upper telescopic section as the hinge eyelets have broken, one one side. How did you resolve this? Thanks.

Hi davida71uk
I made a repair with Milliput Epoxy putty and painted it black ,as I only had white (you can get it in black and other colours ) and it is still holding

There is a slide across blind for sale on Classified, been there a few days so you might have to scroll back a couple of pages.

I think that may be the later model and unfortunately the whole blind. Is there a link you can send please?

I have some putty but my craft skills may not stretch that far. I only need one hole 🙃

Sorry, I'm not that tech clever but others might and yes, as far as I know, it is the full blind but for £55 it's a bargain and probably cheaper than a single component? 🤔
