Hi all
Just about to wheel out the moho and realised the left half windscreen Remis (the black metal fastening part with tiny screws) is broken 😠..so won't pull-to.
There are YouTube helpers but seem to be for the side blinds only. Anyone know who best to seek out for a fix or further advice, rather than me drive a 300 miles return to Oaktree to sort? I'm based in south Essex. Cheers, Chris

I’m not sure which part is broken. Have you got a photo of it?

There are several sites, including eBay, that sell replacement parts.

Hiya - no photo to hand - it's the central vertical 'spine' that has two parts joined by small black screws - this part is what you pull together to join its magnetic counterpart on the other side of the blind. I've seen the parts on eBay (a lot are 3D printed). It's undoubtedly a fiddly job with a risk of tearing the paper blind if you're careless!
Thank for the reply!

Is it the black bit I’ve circled?

Yes 😊.. looks very similar (can't quite see the detail on the leading edge). My van is a 66 reg Elddis with a Peugeot Boxer cab but I read somewhere that Remis have product changes for production years and base cabs, so there's that to consider as well. Appreciate the help!

It looks as if you have to buy the complete blind. Worth checking eBay - they seem to be about £120 for a pair. Also try a search for Remis blind spares in Google. The Remis web site has a spare parts catalog to download.

As a temporary fix, buy some magnetic self adhesive strip and add it to existing magnetic strips. This gives you more power to clasp the two sides together. This is what I did when the passenger side black metal edging broke completely at the two tiny screws.

I did manage a superglue fix, but it didn't last.

I'll be watching with interest for folks other suggestions...
