Reflections from a 3 month Tour

Just returned from a 3 month trip to Portugal Spain France and hope the following is helpful

The Emovis Tags are worth their weight in gold. Sailed through all tolls. Our van is plated at 3650 but no probs at the French peage. I set up a new bank account with Starling for the tags ring fenced from our normal account.

Get to Aires early especially the popular ones. The camper contact app is really good

Every garage we visited for LPG supplied the right adaptor even although we had our own

Don't go sightseeing or look for a restaurant on a Monday

Had the Angle Mort stickers in a cupboard but never used them despite being looked over a few times by local police.

Does this just work the french tolls or all of them ?
Why did you feel it necessary to set up a separate bank account to pay the tolls ?
I have mine set up to current account
and have ATMB toll tag and agree they're very useful but I think mine only works in France

I can understand the separate account, I do similar with several accounts and credit cards for different purposes. Easy to see at a glance what Ive spent on what.
