I am considering having Gaslow installed to my new PVC when it arrives (2 x 11kg) and the fitters have said the fill point goes below the rear bumper on the nearside so it is on the same side as the fuel filler.

Anyone else with the fill point in this place and do you have any problems refilling it given it is so low?

Appreciate all thoughts

Phil

Haven't got a pvc but are you sure that the 11 kg bottles will fit in your gas locker. Most pvc vans don't have that much space for larger bottles. And most tend to go for underslung .

I think Minxy fitted her fill point below rear light.

We often use this bracket on the Fiat / Peugeot/ Citroen vans.
No need to drill any holes as this bracket utilities an existing nut behind the bumper.

Surprisingly most continental van conversions have gas lockers for 2 x 11 kg gas cylinders .
Normally a bigger capacity than an underslung LPG tank, but we do often install tanks so owners can store their Teddy bears , pyjama’s etc in what was the gas locker 😂

Thanks all; seems having the filler point low down isn’t the problem I thought it would be

Yes, that was in my Familyscout, for the Campscout I put it in the bumper ... much easier!
