Red warning on dash

Hi, I am travelling through Spain and a red light on dash indicating a gearbox symbol has come on. The speedo and mileage trip are not working.
Van seems to be running OK and rev counter and everything else functioning.
Any ideas, please?

Red symbol usually means stop asap & resolve

Have you checked the manual if you’ve got one?
Is the gearbox automatic or manual?

But red light means stop and investigate
