enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
we are looking to take 'she who must really be obeyed', on a short trip to York, Scarborough, Filey etc around the middle of May. Ideally we are looking for a pub type park up that allows motorhomes and that also offers accommodation for our 'travelling companion'. More than happy to eat in the pub/hotel/restaurant etc

or if anyone can recommend somewhere more rural but still offering access to places to visit??

MiL has mobility issues, so any recommendations for parking 7.5m motorhome, where we can get access into the towns mentioned above (or others you can recommend in the general area) would also be very useful and welcome.

Its one of the parts of England that i havent really spent anytime in, so if you can offer any information/advice etc then it would be greatly appreciated.

best wishes

Hi, the CAMC site in York can easily take larger motorhomes. Our's is 8m long and we had room to spare. To make things better it's a just a short walk to the City. You can see our video of it in January here:

Thanks. We have booked an Airbnb as we couldn't find anywhere that really met our needs (and her personal needs). It seemed simpler to all stay in the same accomodation and saved putting close to 900 miles on the motorhomes speedo, which we would have happily done if we could have found somewhere.

Probably need to book at least 24 months in advance 😎

The poachers barn at osgodby near Scarborough allows stopovers and has accommodation.
