Recommendations for somewhere to stay in or as close to Plymouth as possible ?

As above I need to stay in or near Plymouth for 2-3 nights as I am going fishing on a friend's boat out of Mayflower Marina in Plymouth.

Stayed at Riverside Caravan park a couple of times coming off the ferry which is okay, its the nearest one .

Stopped at Riverside earlier this year. Tiny pitches, facilities very tired and in desperate need of refurb, okay for just the odd night.

Dartmoor Caravan Park at Crapstone near Yeleverton is very nice if you fancy a small village location on the edge of Dartmoor but just a short drive into Plymouth.

I think the Park & Ride at Coypool allows overnight MH parking. Just on the outskirts of Plymouth, close to A38. 24hrs max stay but shouldn’t be a problem if you came and went each day?

There is a C&MC no toilet block Plymouth Sound club site at Down Thomas, but you will need to drive to Mayflower Marina, or get picked up. You can see Plymouth Sound from there, not stayed there though, it is only a mile from home
