Recommendations for Foldable Table and Chairs for Motorhome

Hi all!

I'm on the hunt for a decent quality table and charirs (at least 4) which would fold enough to fit in the rear garage of my motorhome (Chausson Flash c646).

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? We are very new to this.

We have a roll up camping table that fits in a small bag and there a lots of compact chairs that fold to small bags. We have sat 4 around these tables easily when camping, but depends on the space available in your storage as to how big you can carry I guess.

Personally i think you need to visit some showrooms and look at them first.
Bit late now for the shows unless you can wait till next year.

What suits one person and their van may not be the same for others, like many on here we have had so many chairs over the years.
We have a couple of different style and size tables to suit if we are doing a short trip or longer stay with grandkids.

100% -> we had our minds set on another brand/design, went to a small camping shop with all the chairs, and ended up with a completely different set as they were 1/ More comfortable and 2/ Folded in a better way for stowage in our van.

Remember point 2 is important as chairs only fold one way and it's not always obvious when they are showed erected how they stow. We needed ones that concertinaed into long thin stowage to fit our locker doors as the typical folding chairs were too wide.

If by chance you’re off to the NEC this coming week, I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for. With a low weight limit in the garage (150kgs) which minus the spare wheel is in fact only 120kgs, my main criteria is always the weight of any accessories and gadgets for the MH.

Check your seat height matches your table height! Yes I have bought a chair too low to sit at my table to eat!

I really like Outdoor Revolution chairs, I swear by mine. They are not cheap but they are comfortable and look smart!

After a lifetime of camping and going through all types of flimsy folding top and self-assembly tables we opted for something a bit more substantial with a rigid plastic top, which is also ideal for food prep and cooking on as well. It slotted into a purpose made shelf in our pickup and I’ve put a false floor in the garage of the MoHo so it can be removed without disturbing anything else in there. Similar to this on Amazon:

You need to try them before you buy!

Like many we find the supplied table is too big and too heavy so used something like this this for a while:

And it is great when we have grandsprog or two with us but when just the two of us an auction buy card table is ideal.

Ours has a green cloth top but Argos have this one which is wipe clean so probably better (sorry links not working as I thought they should)

We also have Crespo 4 chairs with leg rests that came with 6 year guarantee and a Crespo table yes expensive but the best.
This is the second table we have had with adjustable legs.
Look at the uneven ground on this photo and the table is level.
Definitely a must have. Bob.
