Recommendation needed for garage in Brittany to repair gas issue (1 Viewer)

Hi, all my dad's out in Brittany in Roscoff in the camper that he bought a couple of weeks ago. The fridge and cooker aren't working. I'm trying to find a nearby garage that might be able to help him.

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for someone who could help, or any idea why both appliances might not be working?

Are any of the gas items working?
Hob?

Does it have crash regulator or hoses on it? I understand you yourself won’t know the answers, but they are the starting points assuming he has gas in the cylinders and knows how to turn them on.
A photo of his gas locker would provide more help.

But sorry, no I don’t know any French gas engineers.

A caravan/motorhome dealer would be a better bet,just use Google.Does he have anything working on gas,are the gas isolation taps all turned on?

It seems strange that both of them would stop working at the same time. Therefore it will be a matter of working back methodically from the gas bottle to the appliances
1 check he has gas in the bottle ( is there anothe gas appliance that's still working? )
2 check the valve on the top of the gas bottle is fully open
3 is there a little (sometimes green?)button on the regulator or near to the regulator . If so then press that in.
4 is there a crash protection device that has operated - it sometimes happens going over a bump.
5 is there a gas shut off valve to the appliances that has been turned to the off position.

If all the above fail to recognise the problem then you may need to rate it somewhere


My money is on either no gas, the regulator or crash valve !
