Recommendation for Portuguese Vets issuing EU Pet Passports?

We're off to Portugal shortly for a couple of months of sunshine . We'll have our 15 week old puppy with us, well 15 weeks (and 2 days) at the start of the holiday, and only want to bear the cost of the AHC once so could anyone recommend a vet we could visit to get the chap an EU Pet Passport? We don't have any plans, we'll be ambling through Portugal so the vet's location won't be a problem.

European Pet Passport and Rabies Booster

Off shortly to the continent and one of the first stops is to get a EU pet passport for the dog. Although her UK administered rabies jab is valid until Nov 2023, would it be prudent to get the vet to give her a booster at the same time as issuing the pet passport. I'm thinking this might...

The link in Post 20 in the above thread doesn't work for me. I've found two vets using Google maps in Paso de Regua:

Clínica Veterinária Douro Sul and​

Onevet Consultório Veterinário Peso da Régua​

Was it one of these you used?

I think Theonlysue used a vet in Silves to get Mias passport.

It's Duoro Sul, you can't see it on Google Street view as it's just set back off the main street

As you say your pup will be 15 weeks old I take it you've worked out your timings as your pup can't have a rabies vaccination before 12 weeks of age and can't travel for 21 days after vaccination

Yes, I know it's tight. He's booked in to have his rabies jab on his 12 week birthday, his AHC at 15 weeks + 1 day and we have a ferry to France at 15 weeks + 3 days (not +2 days as I said in my original post - that mistake makes me a little nervous about my maths ).

not the one that minxy mentioned. About eur 50 for passport and 3 year rabies. She speaks very good English and understand the passport.
