Many thanks to Nigel and Roger for a great job fitting a lithium underseat battery. Even though they encountered an unexpected problem with my van charging system they stayed calm and resolved the issue quickly with no additional cost. What a difference it has made - the first night we ran a Remoska, diesel boiler and TV with no drop in voltage. Definitely money well spent and fantastic service. Also many thanks to Princess Leah (gorgeous Springador) for keeping us entertained.

Nice, Roger and Nigel seem good guys! Was this fitted into a Consort Reef ? If so, do you mind letting me know what electrical changes you made from the stock Consort kit ? We've got a Reef and at some point want to move to lithium, I'm thinking that the solar controller needs to change, the split-charge relay needs to be replaced with a B2B and possibly the EHU charger needs to change (although that's not 100%).
Oh, and add a BatteryMaster to keep the starter battery maintained.

Hello, yes, this is on our Consort Reef. We'd already had factory fitted 300W of solar power and had a 30 amp B2B charger fitted in January (which because of the smart alternator Consort should have fitted). I emailed Roger about our setup and he replied that the Consort EHU charger would only recharge up to 95%, but as we have the B2B and 300W of solar it will make up the rest. The solar charger is not the best but he said to see how we get on. They aren't pushy - no hard selling! I hope this helps.

Yep, nice helpful guys, I picked up £3k of Victron gear from them last week. I didn't realise they had gone on holiday when I had a query, they phoned me back from Australia, great guys to deal with.
Yes they flew out the day after we had our battery fitted.

Thanks! Yes I agree that Consort should spec a B2B with the smart alternator, seems a lot of British converters are stuck in the past. I take it you got the B2B installed by someone other than Consort ?

Yes Road Pro fitted ours but Offgrid can fit as part of battery upgrade.

It's so encouraging to read on here that so many Motorhomers are realising the true potential of being Off Grid in a sustainable way.
Of course many motorhomes come with a build design, that allows short periods without EHU, but this is quite limiting in many cases, which results in needing 220v for longer stays.
With the development of Lithium, Solar and improved vehicle charging systems, of course at an extra cost, the off grid way of motorhoming is very much the way forward.

Nice to hear , I had a quote from them after the Newark show and tried to contact them but no joy may explain if they on holiday
