Recommendation for night stopover waiting for Shuttle.

I should be grateful for recommendations for good places to overnight near the shuttle in Calais. We have a 6m van.

We used to stay at a car park behind the Dog House pub, it’s changed hands so not sure if you can still stay.

Ccp Calais is really convenient, have used it several times prior to ccp taking it on, now has the addition of hookup, very safe and the beachfront at Calais is quite nice.

we don’t stay near Calais if we can help it.
We usually stay in Berck Plage Carrafore car park,which is around a 50 min drive depending on the time of day.

Either the new Camper Carpark in Calais, this is now gated and barriered and has ehu if needed and i'd consider it to be very safe. Or Gravelines which is 35 mins up the A16.

We've stayed at both quite a few times and tbh Gravelines is our preferred option.

Another option is Watten which is about 40 mins away, free stopover with a little town/village a 3-4 min walk away over the bridge, a good bar handy on the left within 5 mins, pizza shop as well within another minute.

We'll be at Gravlines friday night for a 1 nighter before heading for Switzerland with WESTY66 on saturday

Another recommendation for the Dog House, stayed there in June. Phone ahead and don’t arrive before 6pm nice and quite nights sleep the pub is brilliant great food and beer and live music on certain evening. Have a look on their website for info. 15 minutes from the tunnel

We tend to use gravelines 2 beside the waterpark. Always space, free stop and only 20 mins from eurotunnel.

Anyone thinking of gravelines, give it a chance as a stopover for a day or two instead of just a quick nightstop, it's fine if that's all you need but you won't be disappointed for a full day .
