We had a Honda Vision 110 for quite a while and it was fine, If a little under-powered. We chose it because of weight considerations and we still need to be mindful of that.

Now looking for something similar, so all suggestions gratefully received.

We have the Suzuki version (address) I think it's a tiny bit lighter and it has a kick start back up. 110 cc like yours. We can get 60mph eventually on the flat if we both fart in unison and it has done us well for 8 years.
Currently going up Austrian Alps in it.

Thanks - similar to the Honda, but a little more powerful.

What weight can you carry? All 100cc machines will have roughly the same power. If you can go to 125kgs, have a look at a Honda SH125.

Thanks - looks good, but a little too heavy. I'd like it to be closer to 100 Kg.

Honda SH125/Mode. 118kgs and an extra 3hp over Vision!!!
We’re stickn with Vision just now as weight is a key element.

We have a Honda SHMode 125. With half tank of petrol it comes in at 115kg (although take one breath too many at the pump and you suddenly have a full tank and an extra few kg's!). A bit more power than the Vision. Would love a Honda PCX 125 but our little wonder goes in the back of our coachbuilt and I'm right on the limit for weight, length, height and width. Even then I have to remove the mirrors first. Cracking little scooter though!

Honda Grom? I have the wave at the moment but would like something a bit skinnier to aid loading my play boat in the garage.

I was chatting to a German chap in Roses a couple of weeks ago and he was claiming his fairly new Honda CB125 was 100Kg although, upon checking via Google, I see it is around 120Kg. The CG125 however does come in at 100Kg 'dry'. Both are 'proper' motorbikes (my preference to scooters)

But what accounts for the extra 20Kg. Surely it can't be all fuel?

Thanks - hadn't realised it had that big a fuel tank ...
Checking, I think it's nearer 11l, but it all adds up, and I suspect the German guy was underestimating.

On paper it looks good! 9Kg more than the Vision, but with a definite power upgrade. Thanks - I'll look into it. (It's probably a Sym dressed up?)
I considered a Tweet as it met all my requirements (and had very good reviews). In the end I went with Honda legendary reliability but pretty sure the Tweet would have been a great alternative. What I did do was listen to the advice of my son-in-law (a motorbike instructor). He advises against buying a cheaper Chinese built scooter. His reasoning being; when you needs pares or support, you will wish you had purchased Japanese or European.

Yes, I found that with my first E-Bike. Chinese, and nobody could fix it when it went wrong - they couldn't even identify the parts. Tried several repair shops. In the end I had to send it back to the place I bought it from - a total faff. A Internet purchase. Never again.
