Learning every day!
My 7" rearview mirror monitor was working perfectly until today. Driving along and it started switching between AV1 and AV2 (AV2 then shows blue and stating No Signal). it's always been on AV1. The instructions don't help with troubleshooting. I can get only the Picture menu on AV1. When I press Menu key as it states, to get to Volume, Option or System, that doesn't work. The menu key stays on Picture and when pressed again selects Bright/Contract/Colour.

I've switched it on/off but that didn't work. I've tried the remote but that doesn't work. The van came with the camera already installed.
I can't drive with it on as the flickering between AV1 (picture working perfectly) and AV2 (blue screen) quite distracting. I've added the instruction booklet here in case you know the system...

Any ideas what to do?

I find I have to do a hard reset every few weeks by unplugging, count to 10 plug back in when it gets silly

where do I unplug? Sounds silly question but I only see the screen on the original rearview mirror, with a wire going up into the van but have no idea where it disappears to !

Follow that wire and about 6 inches along is a small push fit connector

Alas, the wire disappears into the roof .... but I've been playing about with it and I THINK I've sorted it. Looks okay...I'll know tomorrow when I hit the road again!

Sounds far fetched but yesterday my camera stopped working on the AV2.
What a coincidence to see the exact same problem.
The reversing camera AV1was working perfectly, hope I haven’t got them the wrong way round!
Reversing camera good when put in reverse, nothing when using the rear view camera.
Anyway with my new found knowledge, and a big thank you to TheBig1, today I found the connection he mentioned, using all my skill I buggered around with it and lo and behold it now works.
Currently in Turkey and leaving for the UK early June so a big plus to have the camera working.
What a site Motorhomefun is and of course all the contributors who take the time to help others, thanks funsters.
Worth its weight in gold.

oh I am with you on the amazing source of info/help that is on this site! I've had a few( using the term lightly) issues on my travels through Europe and these chaps just reply nonchalantly and so calmly that it really takes my bp down to nearly normal and enables me to get the "issue" sorted.
I won't go into detail here about my electric cable shredding and being fixed, and the fact it cost me having to accept a bottle of homemade wine for putting up with the time spent.... that's another story! :giggle:
