....any ideas where i could get a liek for like replacement, or the easiest replacement poss?

Cheers

What monitor is it you use?
It's an Eyoyo. The range I can find on Ebay at the moment doesn't include my exact model & I've had it for a few years so the prices are much higher now. IIRC mine cost around £35 at the time.

Ebay is the best place, I got one for around £20 but then took mine apart ,cleaned it ,sealed it up and it's working OK so have kept the new one as a back up.

I did try to open mine up as it's clearly something inside that's the issue. However as I opened it up I felt like it was all pulling apart inside. It did have a sticker on it saying, do not open, I could dort of see why. Once I've got the new one I'll give it a go again as it my just be grime or something.

Basically whats happening is, sometimes when I turn it on I just get a black screen. If I give the camera a little knock it tends to sort it out. No idea how old it is as it was on the motorhome.whej I bought it. It is a 99 model though so could be over 20 years old, who knows..

Could be just a dry solder joint or corrosion. Mine was just misting up ,so much the screen was just a blur. But cleaning it with a spectacles cleaner sorted it out and I was surprised how clear it was.so I have the new one as a spare. My connection was tucked inside the rear of the van and the van side end was not very visible, I didn't want to pull it out .the connection inside the camera is easy to unclipped.
Best to try to clean and repair the old one and recheck it before you install the new one ,if you want a spare that is.

Probably you will find that where the cable joins the camera body it will be sealed with silicon to protect against water ingress. When my dealer replaced mine while I waited it lasted only a few weeks. So I removed it and noticed that the cable at the back had pressed a groove into the fresh silicon sealant which acted as a water channel into the camera. When I fitted my new one I let the silicon dry over night before re-installing the camera. No more trouble.
