Hi all, so I done this last week whilst away on our first trip of the year 🙄. I would really like to try repair it myself, I've bought all materials I need fibreglass repair kit, filler, sanding & paint. My question is how is the panel attached & how do I remove it ? Also how to deal with the rear fog light too ? Thanks 👍

Surely somebody out there has done thus before I need help please to remove panel. Why is nobody answering my post ?

Without coming across as being rude, perhaps because a lot of Funsters sleep through the night, get up and then go to work?

In relation to your damage, I'm sure someone will be able to offer advice, it might take a few days though and I've found that questions tend to attract more answers over the weekend.
As this is more of a bodywork issue rather than motorhome (albeit on a motorhome) have you also tried any bodywork forums (assuming they exist if course?)
I would think (hope) it's an easy repair once you get it off. Has it been bonded on with adhesive as opposed to mechanical fixtures?

Haven´t done a rear corner but did do a front corner (cab to hab); this was on a Miller/Mobilvetta; self tappers and lots of sikaflex/sealant was all that held in on, probably a standard method withs MHs.

Gently and I mean very gently with a heat gun, lots of patience, and your best swear words and the jobs done...

If you can't get it off (as they say) and can get to the back of it, then put some fibreglass mat on the back and fill the front (did that on a different project/crash).

Depending on the material, you may be able to use one of the plastic bumper repair staple tools...

Hello.
Don't know your vehicle so somewhat guessing.
Any vision from back of panel?
Usual method of fixing is some form of push in poppers and/or body mounting tape plus possibly silicon.
Mask up the surrounding body work and trim and push in a sharp ended thin pallet knife. Should be able to feel where the fixings are. Then it's careful brute force to pull it away or push through the tape or silicone with the pallet knife.
Just a suggestion don't blame me if you end up with 2 pieces.
