Hi everyone -We have just this minute come back from Spain and noticed the same crack as "two of us" had on their Rapido on our 2017 Rapido 8096df 55 edition ( just out of warranty and bought second hand from the original owner) in exactly the same place ( could be the same photo if it wasn't for the Spanish dirt we haven't had a chance to clean off yet!)
We even went past Mayenne on the way to the ferry yesterday but only noticed the crack this morning.
Any advice appreciated as to how we remedy this obvious defect in these Rapidos, especially as we love the van. Thanks

No idea how to fix it,but have you considered taking it up with Rapido, surely it’s worth asking as well as pointing out their construction is not good enough.

Looking at that, I would say it is a normal mould join...

Looks too straight and uniformed to be a bump or stress crack...

I`m probably wrong...(Usually are.)..

It is a joint that has slightly parted.

it is not crack or a moulding defect .
just a joint that I would have thought would have an under sleeve but It seems just a glued butt joint.
a cheap way of joining two mouldings parts.

My van same van as yours, 2019.
except mine is south devon and cornwall dirt :)
sonar are you saying this in fact actually 2 priees welded together ? and not made as one full part.
it does look a very clean smooth line on the OPs post tbh.
edit Techno may be able to answer where to get the panels after this thread here

PS Mici gotta love that rear lounge with doors closed heating and mood lighting on eh ? :)

It looks to me to be two mouldings butt jointed together.
the crack as described is to strait. The gap between the two parts have most likely happened when hot and on the move.

the butt joint unlike a boat is as I said butted together.

for such a small section I can not see why it was made in two parts.

a boat would be formed so as one piece would slip over the other.

a feeler gauge pushed Into the gap would confirm a butt joint.
