Rapido glass storage cabinet

Hi All, I've recently bought a 2010 Rapido 9086DF. It has this glass storage cabinet:

This might sound like a silly question.
I'm a bit unsure how to use it. The top part is obviously for stemmed wine glasses. I would have thought they would break swinging back and forth if you hang them upside down. Probably more secure upright but it looks wrong!

The bottom part is obviously for bigger glasses - much bigger. Even my pint glasses are too small for those holes and so would probably tip over when driving.

How do you use yours?

Is it not for storing wine bottles upright? Base in bottom large hole and neck in the smaller top hole

I think the top shelf is meant for plastic wine glasses and the bottom a said by Dunnah is for bottles as we both dont drink a lot ours is somewhat redundant, but does look nice when lit up

Ah it could be for wine bottles. I hadn't thought of that.
