A class
On my rapido I 90 distinction 2015 A class the L.E.D lights below the headlights used to come on when the ignition was turned on ( and all the side markers and taillights, now they only come on with the headlight switch, anyone had this problem?

On my A-class, the DRLs are on whenever there's ignition. But the side markers and tail lights only come on when the headlights are switched on. I don't think rear lights normally come on as DRLs.

I don't think any vehicle with DRL's also has tail lights illuminated. Its a big bugbear of mine in poor weather. People assume that because they have DRL's they are visible from behind which of course they are not. I could never understand a law that insists all vehicles now have DRL's but they only illumnate from the front not the rear. In heavy rain, fog and dark nights vehicles are almost invisible from the rear because drivers fail to turn on their headlights.

DRL's should switch off as soon as the headlights turn on, so if the DRL's are only coming on when the headlights are switched on you have a problem that needs resolving quickly before your next MOT as it will surely fail.

Problem is allowing designers to activate dash lights with front drl's twats think all are on now.

probably the relay that should turn them off when headlights go on.

Sorry yes you’re right the side markers don’t be on or the tail lights it was just the front DRLs but only on now with the headlights and dip ( the light switch is only two positions,on or off if it is a relay anyone know which one we don’t have a diagram
