Since 2015.......
Hi there, I'm hoping that someone on here
can lend a hand regarding my control panel on our 2015 7065FF...

Before Christmas 24, the cab battery gave up the ghost while we were away up in Seahouses, and as we were plugged into EHU, I never noticed the cab battery was flat until it was time to start the 3 hour drive home..

The cab battery gave its best to turn the engine over, but couldn't manage it, so I plugged my trickle charger that I have in the van (It's really for my Honda Scooter, but it lI do the job as it's 12v)

Anyway, after a couple of hours, the van started up ok and we made it home

Ordered a new Yuasa battery, and after reading on here regarding battery changes, I put my other charger on while I swopped old for new it was the original battery, so I can't complain), also turning everything off from the habitation side.

So, swopped the battery, everything works as it should except a couple of things...

1, the side marker lights on the van don't work, even though the front and rear lights work!

2, the control panel above the entrance door, it's on/off button should be green but is now red, and the battery low icon is flashing as the photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mr B ,Have you checked the fuses at the batteries and those on your (CBE ? ) Power Distribution box , there may also be another smaller unit marked Boite relais securite with fuses within it to be checked..

The button is red because there is an ongoing alarm, ie the cab battery is showing low. If you can resolve the low cab battery problem the button will return to green.

It may be worth accessing the extra settings. Turn off the panel and then disconnect the EHU cable. Hold the control panel music button whilst turning the panel on again (no EHU connected) and you should get extra options. You can scroll through them using the left 2 buttons and set using the music button. Once you've seen what you can change make sure you say yes to save Smitter settings

Yes, I’ve checked all the fuses…
CBE panel under the bed.
The main one under the dash
And the one in the engine bay
Not only visually but with my multimeter
I’ll have another look for the French one lol

Cab battery is new and fully charged, I’ve even removed and unplugged the control panel. It’s got be something stupid as everything works apart from the things I’ve mentioned.
As my 80’s pop pin up, Toyah would say…. It’s a mystery…🤔

I’ll try that later… a full shutdown… Control- alt-delete 👍
