Hi folks,

I’ve been searching for a new motorhome for a while and, after some great help from posters here, have shortlisted a Rapido 854f.

Next step is to have a look around one to make sure it fits the bill. I just can’t find a dealer anywhere that has one available for me to view?
I‘ve called Brownhills, Spinney and Wokingham motorhomes who have all said they don’t have any at the moment but will call me when they do.
I have seen an advert from Highbridge motorhomes in Devon that appear to have one but they’re about 8 hours from where I am in North Yorkshire so ideally somewhere I could get to and back in a day!

Does anyone know of any other dealer a bit closer to me that has one on site?

Many thanks

This is the vehicle we have on order and hopeful it will arrive in July. You might struggle as it was a new model released just when the world went mad so probably only a few on the road.It will be worth posting on the Rapido owners group Facebook page as there are a couple of owners on there. It would also be worth you opening up your search to other layouts in the 8 series range to get a feel for quality.I have some dims for the garage if that helps? Just PM me Good luck

Many thanks for the reply.
I have had a look at other models in the 8 and 80 series ranges but this model is the only one I can see that fits my “perfect” criteria of sub 7m, short rear overhang and without a fixed bed. I owned a 9010DF a few years ago so have an idea of the quality Rapido can produce. Hopefully things haven’t slipped too far in the intervening years!
If you can let me have some dims for the garage that would be great.

We will be getting a towbar fitted for our bike rack but also want the option of hiding the bikes away (Mtbs) and recon there is room for them with handle bars turned 90 degrees and hopefully without removing pedals. There is plenty of internal storage for us as a couple so deleted the option of a rear drop down bed.The following were provided by the dealer Red line - the garage tray tapers, so at the base (narrowest point) 31.5cm
Yellow line - there are two vertical pieces of wood, so again at the narrowest point 56cm , otherwise 58cm for the majority of the garage.
Blue line - 26cm
Green line - tray dimension only 195cm
