Rally Eifel (Daun)

Have always had a thing for Group B cars and have been wanting to go for a while now and thinking this is the year to try it. Has anyone been and can recommend a base for the Rally? The vulkaneifel stellplatz looks ideal but really need to book somewhere to guarantee a space. Was also thinking of maybe hiring a car for the short duration so could be a distance away from Daun. Any suggestions welcome. Ta.
