Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
Dumfries Guid Nychburris & Aviation Museum 15 to 18 June 2018 is being organised by @lorger & held at the aircraft museum in Dumfries this year. I've came across some photo's from my last trip to the museum. This museum is a very hands on place, you can touch & explore the aircraft. Now I'll readily admit that I'm no photographer, but I hope these photo's will whet the appetites of those who are attending?

Brilliant thanks, I was looking forward to this rally anyway but more so now.

I'll bring my T'cut and a couple of cloths could be a busy day.

Reminds me of when I were a lad, painting my Airfix model aircraft and deciding which parts to paint duck egg blue and which parts dark green/brown camouflage :) Happy days.
See you all at the rally, looking forward to getting my hands on some flat sausage, Ayrshire Bacon & proper Scottish Black Pudding....cant get it down south:(Hope theres a good local butcher in Dumfries.
Cheers everyone.

Hi Les,
Houston's and Kilnford farm are probably the best two in town, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Both are a couple of miles from the meet I can give you directions or if you sent me a list nearer the time I'll get your supplies.

Many Thanks for that advice, just looked at The Kilnford Farm Website, their "Taster Boxes" look fantastic, so will have to pop down there, when we come up there!:D
Have a great day.

Good choice and only 100Yards from the A75, just follow signs for the Hospital its just across the road, they also have a lovely cafe if your wanting lunch. The good thing about Kilnford is the fact its all local meet mainly from the guys own farm.

I wonder if we can overnight in their car park, and maybe cook up a couple of Aberdeen Angus Steaks:D
