Morning All!

I’ve got a KonTiki 774, when it rains if the vans dead level, the rain off the roof finds a notch in the roof “rail” moulding and collects on the (closed) awning, then creates a curtain of rain directly over the hab door!

Thinking of maybe fixing a clear silicon shower screen type seal on top of the awning box but won’t look great. Any other ideas? Bolsters my theory that no Swift management ever take their vans on test…

Link Perhaps something like this positioned above your awning may be the answer.

Cheap trick, sticky back 25mm electrical trunking. Cut one edge off, use the remaining as a drip detail pushing the draining water away from the door head.
I'll post up a photo of mine tomorrow when it's light.

Here you go, late but as promised a photo of the white sticky back electrical trunking in place. Starting just above the canopy there's a small piece to direct the water away from the hab door area, this the hab to cab joint area. Below that on the canopy face profile, is a piece to stop the water running around the profiled face and dripping off and onto the hab door. Below that again but on the vans wall above the hab door is another piece to drip off any water passing the canopy seal and running down the wall potentially onto the door head. Hope that's all clear.

Thule have an awning gutter and also sealing strips. Would either of those solve the problem?

The track captive one's seem OK , the stick on one's seem a bit hit and miss.
