Don't think this one has been mentioned.
C&MC site at Craigie Gardens in Ayr.
A few minutes walk to the racecourse and direct access to a walkway down the river to the town centre \ beach.
Think they got availability for The Scottish Grand National weekend on 1-2 April.

Another one that might be worth looking at for the racing, is Market Rasen.
It used to a caravan club affiliated site but is now run by the racecourse. The campsite is listed on the racecourse website.
It was the first campsite I stayed at when I first got my motorhome, as it is local and my parents at the time lived 400 yards down the road.
Ground is a bit uneven and slopes. Easy walk into town.
