RAC Warranty

My dealer is including a two year gold warranty on my van, to upgrade to three year platinum is £200.
Does anybody have this warranty ? Do you think it's worthwhile?
Looking at overall costs I'm happy to pay it ,just not something I've taken before on my cars and bikes.

Take it...bargain! We paid £299 for our gold one but I think to lose £200 in not using it is far better than losing thousands over the 3 years in self paid for repairs for anything over the £500 claim that the free one gives you. Just look at cost for a new fridge, let alone othe hab and motir bits
Remember to use vat reg companies for engine service (each year or 8k miles, whichever comes first) and vat reg for hab check

Anything and everything apart from wear and tear or water ingress (the latter does if under 8 years old)

That would be much appreciated, I was constantly getting dealers selling warranty as opposed to content of.

Just be aware of the policy limits. I had an RAC warranty on a used car. Clutch/Gearbox failed in the warranty period, they paid £1000, but I had to pick up the rest. Still a good saving, and well worth having.
