Hi. Can anyone out there please tell me how the level lights operate on their Thetford C260 series toilet? Ideally specific model C263-S. If the cassette is empty and 12V power is turned on, do you see a single green light immediately? Or do you have to 'activate' the toilet by pressing flush or the fan on the control panel before any light comes on? Thanks for any comments.

On my 260 nothing lights up until nearly full, then red light comes on. Sometimes the float sticks after emptying and the red light comes on. A quick shake of the cassette usually fixes it.

Thanks. That sounds like you have the single level indicator. Apparently ours has the 'luxury' of a multi-level indicator, but the manual isn't exactly clear.

Ours is the C263s ... there are no lights on until the flush button is pressed once then 1 or 2 green or a red light shows depending upon the level in the cassette.

I think the green light come on to show that the power supply to the fan is enabled (if fitted)

Ah great and thanks very much. Ours is operating just like you describe. I had half convinced myself that a light used to come on as soon as the 12V was turned on. I can sleep easily now.

Thanks. We do have a fan fitted, but a light only comes on if flush or fan is activated.
