Quick Disconnect Battery Connectors

I came across these today. They look as if they would be better than the normal quick disconnect connectors I've seen.

Plus the terminal is covered/ protected.

Those look good similar to what Fiat use on the neg on the starter battery.

The best place for those is the bin, they are made from pressed steel, not a very good conductor and useless for high current loads.

The Mickey mouse metal of which you speak is actually tinned copper, if you read the small print. As you probably know, the best material is brass, which is a better conductor than steel, but stronger than copper. If you look at the pictures in the ad, you will see that covers are available.

Chinese manufacturers can't be blamed for producing what the majority of customers want: ...........Cheap. (Yep, Funsters included).
Often, one can only buy cheap Chinese products because there aren't sufficient discerning customers for European manufacturers to be able to compete when producing higher priced quality products.
