Anyone have any knowledge of whether the roof of a PVC is generally strong enough should you wish to climb on it. Doubt I probably would, unlike my last C class van, but it would be good to know. I will ask the manufacturer too but would like info from anyone who actually does it, especially about the corrugated roofline & what it is there for.

I was up on my pvc roof yesterday sealing around a small roof light, not walking more a crawl, I wouldn't like to point load my 215lb through my feet only.

Edit Thanks Landy Andy lol

Thanks for all these quick replies. I think I will probably not but suspect you can if careful re load points. I’ll see what Adria have to say when they reopen after their summer holiday shutdown

I wouldn’t…..not without spreading the load.

Especially with the point loading my stilettos create 😱😂
I'd be more concerned with the effect of the kneeling on my fishnets; especially after the effort I go to just to ensure that my seams are straight ... ;)

Maximum weight for swift on the roof is shown as 13 stone max

Depends if your walking where the roof supports are.
The roof is quite flexible especially around any sky lights.

I'm 17 stone..been up a few times but always make sure to spread the weight..I doesn't feel as it would hold esp in the middle.
They aren't made to hold weight after all. At least not on bearing beams
