I'm a newbie
We’re looking for a PVC ideally in a Merc, VW or Ford base vehicle (we prefer the driving position in these compared to the Fiat Ducato). It will need to be a 3 or 4 berth, with a small shower / loo.

We’d prefer a second hand vehicle (ideally Euro 6), so anything made from 2016 onwards would be great. Manual is fine. We have C1 licence so weight is not an issue. Length up to 6m - 6.5m (max), Width ideally 2 - 2.1m, height no a problem (but we definitely don’t want a pop top).

Any suggestions? Experiences? Info or links? We’ve been looking but I’m sure we’re missing some good vans 😄

I think the converter manufacturers all dabble with all base vehicle manufacturers at one time or another, none limit their production to just one manufacturer.
With it pvc it should be easily recogniseable which is which

No, not too high at all. We don’t mind what the height is, but we wanted to limit the width to about 2m (narrow alpine roads and country lanes!).

Your suggestions are really useful, but we are looking for a 3 or 4 berth, so a 2 berth would not be suitable.

Many thanks 😊

Wildax use Mercs. Murvi use Ford's.

Best thing is to set aside a few hours and trawl through Autotrader and Ebay.

You'll soon recognise the Sprinter /Crafter /Transits.
