Purchase a HYMER Grand Canyon S CrossOver overseas.

I am planning to purchase a HYMER Grand Canyon S CrossOver. I am in the states. I cant find any dealership here in Washington DC. or any other states. Wanted to ask a couple of questions to the group.

1. Do you know of any dealership in the states?
2. If I come to Germany to buy one is the price fixed for the same model and same add on or is it negotiable?
3. Whats the sales tax in Germany?
4. We plan to travel in Europe for about a year and bring it back to the states. How difficult is it to bring it back to the states as far as the import regulation.

1. I'd start with the Hymer website (where there doesn't appear to be a US dealership)
2. Perhaps contact several Hymer dealerships via the website on #1?

I thought there was an age restriction on personal imports to the states? I know a few who wanted to import mercedes vario campers there but they had to be over 20 years old or something.

Might be worth researching the import protocol in your State before looking in to purchase

25 yrs old....a mate had a lovely 205 Gti that he imported there on its 25th birthday.
