My Problem: The water pump pulses and interior lights flicker in time with the pulsing. Pressure to the shower and bathroom taps are OK but the kitchen pressure is woeful. In the past I suspected the pump but it was no better.
My proposed solution: Take the live feed from the pump and, through a switch, connect to a 12v, (direct feed from leisure battery) fuse box previously installed in the Truma Combi area. I have tried a simple connection and I seem to have eliminated the light flicker when the pump runs. I have not yet refilled the water system to see if the water is still pulsing.
There is clearly a voltage drop somewhere in the system. Is my solution to bypass the installed pump wiring acceptable?
Many thanks.
