Good evening
Can anybody tell me if dogs are allowed on public transport in Portugal and Spain,
We will be chasing the sun shortly and had a thought about taking our Bassett hound on the bus

In Spain generally dogs only allowed if small enough to be capable of being carried in a proper pet transporter.

The only exception we've had was for the rack railway up to Montserrat where a soft muzzle was acceptable.

Riverbankannie that is so useful to know-we struggle in Spain because we can't take our dog on public transport, I never realised there was a pet friendly option on Uber-thank you!

It is transport and public in that anyone can use it . Ok it’s not a bus or a train but if if you cannot take your dog on those …….
