Apparently there is a new law in Spain that you have to have PLI for a dog in Spain which I believe came in late last year

We gave up paying for his health insurance as it was increasing year by year to an incredible amount (he is a Border Terrier, 11 yrs old and fairly fit) so we pay money instead into a building society each month to cover any unexpected vet’s bills etc, he also has a pet plan which covers his check ups and injections etc

Previous posts have mentioned joining the Dogs Trust which is fine as it looks like there is some sort of cover for this but you don’t get a physical insurance certificate so not sure if this would be any good if challenged in Spain - has anyone found cover at a reasonable price please?

Thanks Lizbie, I have just signed up for the companion at £12.50, it appears to be good value
