Chausson Welcome 500
Hello, we bought a Chausson Welcome 500 2015 recently and have had problems with the raised bed on three occasions, resulting in it now being stuck at the top position. We removed all the bedding so it made it to the top but now no amount of hidden button sequencing, pressing reset etc.. will budge it… Currently trying to find the main fuse box but cannot find that either.

Will take it back to the dealers but just wondered how common these problems were? Very comfortable bed when we finally got it going previously…

We have this bed , actually two drop down slightly different to each other but 1 is a project 2000, very comfortable as you say , we not had problems with 2000. But did with our one which turn out to be a short possibly damaged due to a mouse, others have had minor problems on here , you should able to look at older treads on here. We find if they are used regularly it keeps parts working,
Personally we like them ,
Good luck hope you get sorted ,

Do you have any lights on the bed control panel?

Yes the red alert and green spanner

suejh1 -- There should be a manual wind down facility.
I am aware that there are a number of differing versions of the Project 2000 bed system but the attached may be of help to you. I am in the process of having one fitted to my new MAN TGE conversion and this came with it. You may also find that Kevin at Camper Interiors can help as He supplied mine and also fits them into his conversions.

There is also -Broken Link Removed-section of this forum.

PS to admin, I have uploaded the pdf below to the resources section for future reference.

Check this document. Red and green flashing means the memory has been wiped and the bed needs to be reprogrammed Ie. Get the Green spanner light on only.

Thank you for all the helpful replies, we returned to the Dealer who changed the control box on the bed itself, ie the silver plated part with the switches on, and it’s working okay atm…. so fingers crossed ..
