Anyone know of a good Oyster repair company. Tried to get the satellite up.....came up spun around then retracted. The unit will not turn off and keeps flashing a message ....problem with Y motor retracting..... in the end I have pulled out the fuse. Not have any problems with it over the summer so I wondered if the bad weather had caused a problem.

I know its along way to visit but Road Po UK in Daventry are the expertsyou may not need to go down there speak to Mark Wilkinson on 01327312233 he is very knowledgable, they are UK importers.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but Roadpro are not the importers for Oyster: they deal with Camos, Kathrein and Crystop.

You could try Conrad Anderson in Birmingham 0800 279 0085, or if you are on the East side of the country, Snellyvision in Lincolnshire 01472 258620.

Alternatively, a quick internet search will reveal several fitters.

Philip

p.s. sorry - just realised where you are based. Here is the number for the Oyster importer who should be able to direct you to a suitable technician: 01858 575 928 http://www.oystersat-tech.com/

Just found more details

It is Robert Jackson near to Huddersfield and his tele no. is 07801 843332

Can strongly recomend Robert Jackson ( 01924 848566 ) .. He works from Wakefield.
His lads fitted our system for us ( bought 2nd hand ) and by the cringe did they work hard and work neatly.
I was impressed with the methodical way they went about the job and not once did I see a look of 'errrrrr... not sure what to do next'
