Pre purchase check Sutton Coldfield

Hi funsters,
I've the chance of a Hymer in Sutton Coldfield. I'm a newbie and clueless mechanically, but it will have a new MOT.
Does anyone know of somebody local to look it over for me? And do a hab check? I've waited years for a van, I don't want to blow the bugger up.

There are also dozens of mobile motorhome/caravan workshops who are NCC approved. Most any one of those will look over a van for you https://www.approvedworkshops.co.uk/find-approved-workshop .

Has it had a recent habitation service? You might need 2 inspections one to look at the mechanical side the other the habitation. When we bought our first we had no idea so had a habitation service including a damp test done if the seller is genuine they should have no problem with this

I am looking at one in Sutton Coldfield too, but not the Hymer. Sorry

The current owner is being helpful. My own worse enemy is myself. I'm engaged in a heroic battle against my natural impatience.
