Hi can't quite remember what I said about our arrival time, but it will be sometime Friday morning.

As per my original post in the meet.

I specifically ask that people do not take this action to get to the meet.

I am given 50 places for fun vans and it's difficult enough organising things for those that we know are coming.

I would hate for anyone to feel left out and abandoned as per last year when someone took the same course of action and then came and told me afterwards how bad they felt the funsters behaved when we did not even know they were there.

meets are organised this way for a reason and Alex knew to take no other bookings from MHF and in fact told me he wouldn't due to space.

Oh yes but much shaking of heads and sharp intakes of breath will be required.

I feel their pain I backed into a metal lamppost in a macdonalds car park and cracked a bit of plastic myself a few years ago.

I could see the lamppost as I was looking through the rear window and it was large and smack in the middle of it, plain as the nose on anyone's face - as in the Bessie we had a rear view mirror that HAD a rear view, I could NOT believe it when you went CRUNCH.

Still never mind, now we don't have any rear view at all, I'm sure you'll be fine!

(we do have a reversing camera, but same as the mirror, if you don't actually look at it ......)


Now - can you just IMAGINE, Dear Reader, what Pete's reaction would have been had I been driving?

Sorry for short notice but we have to cancel
Since coming back from Skegness Trish has been fighting a cold with the hope of making the meet but spent last night sitting up in chair coughing all night and it looks likely she has a chest infection.
We are both gutted as were really looking forward to it.
Things seem to be conspiring against us at the moment.
