Over the last couple of days water is taking it's time coming through, thought it was an air lock so ran it for a bit and came though ok. Went back after a while to draw more and it was a trickle at first then came though, this is on EHU.When on batt only really struggles to come through.ls pump on its way out?.

Cheers

I don’t think I can help but the problem might be different with a submersible pump than with a pressurised system. Which type have you got?

Do you mean the water works fine on hook up but not on battery?

Sounds like a non return valve letting water drain back.

Is the pump sounding like it's going pretty quickly but the water takes a while to come through? If so first thing to check is if the pump filter housing is cracked.

Yes it does seem that way.
Thanks

My experience is pumps have a 'life' of about 18 months.
I always carry a spare
I'm now on my third pump, but still not used the spare tyre.

You pump could be on it's way out, it could also have a loose pushfit connection, which is letting air into the system.

You must have some bad luck or something else is off. My water pump is O/E and the van is a 2007 with 141,000 miles on it. I've carried a spare for years and never needed it.

Is that a new pump then or can I just buy the NRV?
Cheers
That type of pump doesn't have a non return valve as such it's part of the way ot works.
You can buy a repair kit but it's only about a tenner cheaper than a new pump.

If you are in NE Spain you could find places to buy a pump or get checked by someone, just a suggestion...
