Hi totally resealed between top of cab and overhead but seems to be bleeding as images -no I didn't use silicone and stripped all the old out first my question is -
Could it be a reaction as before I sealed sprayed rust inhibitor in prior to sealing but did clean the area off afterwards?
Or is there any other way water can enter the void? eg through panararamic above window?

If it's leaking at the discoloured area above the "A" pillar the dampness will appear in the cab headlining inside. Is this where it is?
How did you clean the area? You need to make sure all traces of "contaminates" are removed. I use isopropyl alcohol then fresh water.

Common sense tells me a reaction overtime with sealant as the edges are lifting plus capillary action and wind driven rain inside as clean as a whistle, just paranoid it might be coming from somewhere else

Interesting.
My 2008 Chausson does exactly the same.
It was actually leaking into the top of the A pillar but I fixed that with a suitable adhesive sealant , Sika but can't remember which.
Does not leak now but the black mark still keeps appearing 'through' the sealant.
My theory is that it must be a rusting unfinished or cut edge inside the front moulding.
I don't worry about it too much.

I wonder if it is capillary action drawing up thought the steel joint just near the top of the A post or being driven up whilst driving in wet weather??

Yes , that could be but that joint would have been either glued or welded in the factory. Also other motorhomes don't seem to have this issue.
Makes you wonder why ours do. Also they are the same age with the same front moulding.
I've thought about removing the internal trim, not from the A post itself but above it inside the moulding and having a look. But not done it.
Mine has a couple of open storage bays there.

If treated and sealed properly it won’t leak, but alternatively you could attach a drip bead so water doesn’t come down the A pillar.

Will give it a go and see what happens :)
