Hi funsters, we will be returning back to the UK at Portsmouth ferry terminal. The Brittany Ferries ship gets in mid evening, there have been previous threads of where to stay if one is too knackered to complete the journey back home, I may be in that category! Your info will be much appreciated.

Solent Parking - been there a few times, make sure you call security (number is on the notice boards in the car park). Various restaurants within - few mins walk.

It’s about 10 mins from the ferry.

Went past today and still shut, not sure when the open again even after living within spitting distance for 16 years

Port Solent ,10 mins away and you can nick into weatherspoons for a nite cap.

For campsites CAMC Winchester is about 35 miles away just off the motorway. CAMC Rookesbury Park is much closer but is not open until early March

The Burger van is lower down about 400 yds away, it’s quiet once the pub shuts.

Superb site, yes pricey, but you can see where the investment goes. We are back there for a long weekend in May.
