Do l need to worry about the Portsmouth zone in a 3850kg moho..passed through on my way to IOW yesterday

Vans are exempt but the list does not show PHGV , as I expect your Motorhome is classed , so it may be worth checking on the website using your registration number , www.cleanerairportsmouth.co.uk/charges
Also as denisejoe suggested the IOW ferry terminal is in the congestion charge zone.

Yes interesting...
My 4100kg Euro5 comes up as a "Heavy Goods Vehicle", but there is no charge at for any of the zones 👍👍

I asked Portsmouth Council about motorhomes about a year ago as their website didn't make it clear whether they were treated differently to other heavy vehicles. They did alter the script on their information page to make it clear that they simply have a 3500kg threshold for all vehicles so unfortunately any PHGV that is not Euro 6 will be subject to the £50 daily charge; got up to six days afterwards to pay. If you don't pay within the 6 days it becomes £120!

Yes indeed, as stated above my euro 5, 4100kg comes out the exact same as yours above..
Mine also states "heavy goods vehicle" so they must differentiate for "motor caravans" as my V5 states..

Even better as I'm except the London ULEZ and LEZ but I do have to pay the £15 or £17.50 congestion charge 😭 but this helps as I'm off to Wimbledon for two weeks of tennis

Hi
I am OK when I check my reg number on the .Gov web site. I tried to get firm information from the ferry staff at the time of the crossing. They did not have clue. When I suggested a warning be placed on their paperwork to check out the Lez rules. " nothing to do with us " was there reply. Great customer service...
Not.
