SwifterInteresting product … I'm guessing it would struggle to keep a van cool during the heat of the day, but at night, it could be useful for very hot weather - although at up to 46db noise levels when working, it might be an issue on quiet sites
It’s actually very quiet outside even on full power . You certainly won’t upset anyone . The unit is fantastic and I’ve just got it ready for the weekend. We are off grid but with a good lithium bank and it won’t be run all the time . With solar topping it up we should be fine . I tested it last year on 1x 100ah lithium battery and got 3 hours 48 mins on full power with no solar inputInteresting product … I'm guessing it would struggle to keep a van cool during the heat of the day, but at night, it could be useful for very hot weather - although at up to 46db noise levels when working, it might be an issue on quiet sites
That’s a good job . We did similar when we stayed on sites and to be fair I was able to get the Motorhome really cool . Unfortunately I don’t have enough power to run something like that off grid for any reasonable amount of time . That’s why the 450w unit we have is a compromise .Here's what I use - based on a cheapo Daewoo unit from The Range.
I did'nt want it plumbed in, so did some DIY to vent it. I carry the unit strapped in the garage until needed.
