just looking
Hi guys I’ve just converted a Citroen relay drop side lorry into a motor home. Spent an arm and a leg on it! Looks incredible. I have just sent off the log book with a ton of pictures to get changed over from drop side lorry to motor home on the V5c Do you think they will accept the conversion ?

I was concerned as I went on DVLA website and ‘drop side lorry’ was not on the list of acceptable conversions. And drop side lorry is what’s on my log book

Welcome!
I've no idea about re-classification as from other conversion examples it seems pretty hit 'n miss getting a motorhome description. I think that external graphics are necessary. It's a beautiful looking conversion although the rear overhang could be problematic going up ramps (e.g. onto a ferry) but that may just be the angle of the photo. Good luck.

If the vehicle’s body type as shown on your V5C (log book) under vehicle details point D.5 is not one of these, do not send in your application as DVLA will not process it. Says it plain enough on their site . Maybe something you should have sorted at the start ?

Its a Bailey. 🤔

Ithe info at the top of the list seems to indicate that they will not consider the change.

Welcome :welcome3:

I don't know the answer, but I'm very impressed with the end result. :clap2:

As already said, send lots of pictures with your application, because it's clearly a motorhome!

Vehicle is listed as Body Type N1 = light goods. Smells of ......

Number plate is not correct for the vehicle in the photo of different vans. Exterior and internal photos are of different makes of MH, it's all a big spoof. :ROFLMAO:
