Anybody got ideas or examples of how they store plates and mugs please?
On my previous conversion I used one of the combined beige plastic things used in caravans, but wondered if there are any better alternatives around?

Used to keep mugs in cut off milk bottles and plastic jugs. Bought some plastic mug holders, space for two mugs. Out of stock when I tried to buy more so still using jugs. Use the bowl and plate holders that came with the van but had to turn the plate one through 90’ as our plates were too tall. Also use it for cutting board, etc. Bubble wrap stops rattling.

The one we bought just holds 2, this one would take up too much room

My MH alrady had this fitted, with elastic straps that go up and over mugs and around front of plates.

I just put mine loose in a plastic box

Thanks for responses folks, looks like the beige plastic thing as shown in two responses is the way for my build.

I have a silicone ? drawer liner from B&M ... my china mugs sit upside down on that. I make sure they’re not touching and it seems to keep them safe.

Hope you are well Andy. Is this you just getting round to doing your 2nd van I saw or are you now on van no3?

It depends on what your plates are made of. i stack plates horizontal, not vertically and have stops to prevent them sliding about. I don't like rattles, or breakages, so feel that this is the best way to carry them (fixed in place. Cups and glasses are held in their own compartments. Again, to stop rattles and prevent breakage.
