Hi All,

We are thinking of going to Wales for a couple of nights next week in the MH as never been there before...
Can anyone recommend good places to go and stay with the MH - are there any Ayres in Wales. Totally open to suggestions either coastal or inland.
Many thanks Chris

Ah, how long is your piece of string? There are SOOO many options. North Wales is stunning and there are loads of beautiful sites and some nice park4nights.

Mid-Wales is also gorgeous, as is Pembrokeshire, the Gower and the Brecons.

Best advice is to download searchforsites or similar and indulge your plans!

If you like walking Pen y Fen and the five waterfalls a short drive away.

As said use a parking app or Brit stops

Whereabouts in Wales? It's not a massive country, but it takes some getting around, especially North-South. Pembrokeshire to Anglesey can take 6 hours on a particularly bad run. You need to be a bit more forthcoming!

No Aires as such, but Powys County Council (mid-Wales, non coastal), allow overnight motorhome parking in all their carparks for £7 - (one night in seven, and no facilities though).

Ayres in Wales, non in the U.K. only Europe.

Wales is a big country as per above but depends what your after, walks, views, pubs, towns, seaside etc etc.

Google is your friend as is researching Wales travel ideas.

Tip, nothing to look at above Cardiff, stay mid, north Wales if you want views, walks and tranquility or West Wales for sea and beaches.

Cardiff Sofia gardens has deserved reputation for bike theft.
Anything North of Merthyr or West of Bridgend lovely.

My top sites are:
Redkite
Fforest fields
Carfai bay

Also three cliffs bay & Brecon site. Chirk site is close to good walks also

It really depends on what you want.

CAMC St Margaret's at Chirk is closed until December 2022: I know because I recommended it to my daughter who is heading to Wales as I write. So far all the sites she has tried are full for next week.
